Why is my kitten losing hair and has flaky spots on its head and ears?

My ten week old cat has a spot that started out on his head as a bump, and then got a flaky type texture and now has spread to little spots on his ears. There's no hair where the spots are. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | neutered | 2 months and 25 days old | 4 lbs

Possible causes for the lesions in the picture include fleas, ear mites, ringworm, allergies, among others. I would recommend that you see your vet for diagnosis, as this can quickly get worse. Ringworm can also be contagious to humans.
