Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sorry to hear that Hunter is having a slight problem. Pimples on the chin usually indicates canine acne which can vary in severity. Sometimes these areas get a deep secondary bacterial infection and the entire chin area swells. You should consult with your veterinarian to discuss the best ways of treating this. Possible treatments involve topical medicines such as mupirocin ointment (prescription), using antibacterial scrubs and rinses on the area, sometimes even oral antibiotics, and anti inflammatory drugs are needed also. Some people believe plastic food and water bowls can cause a plastic reaction from contact with the chin. If that is suspected porcelain or glass bowls are then advised. I would let your vet take a look at Hunter now that you know a little more so you two can work together to come up with an appropriate way to treat this. Good luck with Hunter.
