Shaved cat licking too much? How to soothe irritated skin at home.

My cat had bad mats groomer shaved hm 2 days ago since then he is excessivly licking, he is a 14 yr old Siberian. What can I use to sooth the skin. Pet's info: Cat | Siberian | Male | neutered | 14 years old | 12 lbs

You can try bathing him in an oatmeal shampoo to try to calm his skin. I like duoxo calming as well for itchy skin. If it isn't improving I would see your vet to ensure he doesn't have a skin infection. I hope this helps!
