My puppy's leg broke, still limping. Should I get a second opinion?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | unspayed | 8 months and 18 days old | 53 lbs

When she was about 2 to 3 months old ,once accidentally door got shut hitting n hurting her leg.Since then she was not walking properly,I took her to a vet ,they took an x ray ,said there was a little break in the bone and prescribed only calcium tablets saying as it is still young it will join automatically,but still she is not walking properly and they say there is no problem. . .I am confused . .

It is hard to evaluate on those x-rays but if she is still lame and having problems then you should go to another vet for a second opinion. You could also go to a veterinary orthopedic surgeon if there is one in your area. A specialist has more experience and will be able to evaluate your dog better.
