My indoor cat has tapeworms. What dewormer do you recommend?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 20 lbs

I think my cat has tapeworms! He is a indoor cat and does not have fleas. So don't know how he got them. What kind of worm medicine do you recommend. He hates traveling he poops and foams at mouth. when we take him somewhere. Thanks Michelle

I recommend Drontal, which is an excellent deworming treatment and is available by prescription only from the vet. Drontal contains praziquantel, which kills tapeworms and is a prescription medication. You will have to take Rocket into the vet to get this medication, and I would take a sample of his feces with you so the vet can confirm that he does have tapeworms and can treat him for it.
