My Chihuahua has a dark, crusty spot on her back. Should I worry?

My Chihuahua has a oval shapes spot on her back it feels crusty and seems darker than the rest of her skin. It doesn't seem to bother her she hasn't scratched it or licked it. When I touch it it seems painless. Should I worry?

She could have a bacterial skin infection so she should be examined by a vet. She may need an oral antibiotic to help treat. You could also bathe her with a medicated dog shampoo and see if that helps, too.
