My dog has pimples on his chin and now they're spreading. What's next?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 7 months old | 50 lbs

My 1 1/2 year old pit bull/German shepherd has pustules on his chin. I assumed acne and have developed a bathing routine. I also clean his face with hydrogen. peroxide once a day and coconut oil because he already has pretty dry skin. Chin is healing, there is definitely now scar tissue. However, he is now getting little pimples on his underside; down his neck, pits and rear legs. These ones are more mild; appear, pop, crust, then fur and dead skin falls off. Appetite energy and all else normal.

This sounds like a bacterial skin infection that is spreading. This is very common in German shepherds and can become very frustrating. Because of his breed and that these can be tough infections to totally clear you should see your veterinarian and discuss antimicrobial therapy for your dog. Typically with German Shepherd's and this type of skin infection sometimes both oral and topical medications are needed.p
