My puppy is shaking and breathing fast while sleeping. Is it normal?

Our 7 week old puppy is shaking when asleep and breathing fast. He was given a pill for worms and one for flees. Is this normal? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 5 lbs

If your puppy continues this behavior once awake, then this is concerning and requires veterinary examination. If it is just while he is asleep and once awake he is his normal self, then he is likely dreaming. It isn't unusual for puppies to twitch/move/vocalize/and breath fast for periods when sleeping.
