Pet's info: Dog | Havanese | Male | unneutered | 1 year old
Kiba was at the groomer's yesterday and she ended up cutting a lot more of his hair than I have requested. I don't mind it for aesthetic reasons, however Kibaseemd a bothered by it? He scratches himself more often and seems kind of restles. I don't see any irregular marks on his skin or anything like that. Is this behaviour normal? Will he just get used to his new look?

Hello Sometimes after being groomed there can be irritation from clippers and/or bathing that could cause itching and irritation. Sometimes this can lead to a skin infection which is also irritating and itchy. If you see any redness source, bumps, scabs or his itching worsens you can have your veterinarian take a look as if there's an infection he may need antibiotics. Otherwise it'll just take time for the hair to regrow but it should become less irritating.
