My parakeets beek is too long and sharp. Trimmed it, but grew back. Vet says is fungus that is causing it. Is that possible? Any other reason beek grows?

Hi, Beaks can grow abnormal if there is a malocclusion which means the bottom and top are not meeting in the correct formation and closing against each other properly. Keeping the diet proper and the beak trimmed are good ideas for birds with this issue. Also provide chewing materials to keep the beak worn down as much as possible. Hope this helps !
