My mother is dog sitting my dog. Through a complete accident my mom accidentally fed my dog wet food that has apparently been room temperature for about 2 weeks from the last time she pet sat. She reported that my dog threw up 3 times within about 1 hour of ingestion. What should I do?!?! She reported that my dog is acting fine now

Have her withhold food for 24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. She can resume feeding Stella a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. If Stella doesn't vomit for 24-48 hours, then she can be slowly transitioned to her regular diet. Hopefully, Stella vomited all of the bad food out. If not, she may have some diarrhea in the next few hours. Keep with the plan laid out above. For diarrhea, feed bland until the stool is normal then transition to the regular diet. Monitor for lethargy, loss of appetite, or abdominal pain. If Stella's symptoms do not resolve, your mother should being her to a veterinarian.
