Why are my hamster's poops hard and dry? Is he constipated or normal?

I have been told before that my hamster is constipated and that his poops should not be hard and dry which his poop is and I always give him clean filtered water from water bottles.

If he is passing feces regularly and not showing any sign of discomfort, constipation is not present and even if quite hard, consistency could be completely normal. You can eventually try to vary his diet giving more greens and small amount of grass, clover, or carrots a day would be ideal.
