Kitten licking bald spot with hole near tail. What could it be?

Hi there my kitten has been licking the same spot for over a week it's bald and has a pin sized hole in it. It's above thigh bone on the left side of her tail what could that be ?

This could be a skin infection, like ringworm or a bacterial infection, or an allergic reaction. If it is not improving on its own you need to visit a vet for an examination and possibly a skin scraping test to determine what is causing the hair loss/licking and how to fix it.
