My 10-year-old dog is licking her paw. Is it an allergy or infection?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 10 years and 1 month old | 100 lbs

My dog licks and chews her foot i was cleaning and found a light colored scabe or something (it looked like a magett but its winter time) cleaned it with peroxide anf put neodoprin on it is there anything else i can do. She is a 10 yr old lab sherpard mix

If she is licking and chewing her paw than she could have allergies or an infection. You could soak her paw in a warm Epsom salt solution and see if that helps. Otherwise, she should be examined by your vet for treatment. She may need an antibiotic and anti-histamine to treat.
