My dog's eye is cloudy, red, and tearing. Could it be cherry eye?

Hi my name is samantha im 19. my pugbull name is chloe she has this weird cloudy part in the color of her eye and my boyfriend noticed it on march 29,2020 I had to deal with family for a couple of weeks and I had my mom at home watch chloe and I came back on march 29,2020 and I been watching chloe's eye and the cloudly part started to turn reddish when she slept for an hour my mom thinks it's this thing called cherry eye please help me chloe has been tearing up at the eye

The blue area is likely inflammation and scarring, with the pink tinge related to new blood vessels trying to repair a damaged area. This can be due to severe ulcers or sometimes autoimmune disease. A full eye check by your vet is recommended, in the meantime regular rinsing with sterile saline eye wash or cooled boiled water can help, artificial tear gels can also help reduce discomfort until you can arrange an appointment
