Dog shaking head, scratching ear after bath. Is it water in ear?

Hello! We have an almost 2 year old pit mix. We gave him a bath today and since then he seems to possibly have water in his ear or something. He has big ears the stand up on his head (similar in shape to a german shepard), when he gets up he is shaking his head and sometimes scratching at the ear. It doesn't seem to hurt him, but more annoy him. When he is laying down calm, he is okay. Is this something we should take him to the local vet for? Or is there something we can do to help? Thank you!

I think you should have a vet take a look inside the ears with an otoscope. He may have something down in the ear causing him discomfort. It's not an emergency. You can always wait to see if he is OK by tomorrow and if not, definitely get him to a vet.
