Why is my spayed indoor cat suddenly spraying everywhere?

My 5yo spayed indoor cat has began spraying. She will spray in the tub and especially on any clothing or linens on the floor. Any idea as to what may be going on? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 11 lbs

While this might be behavioral, the first step is to see your veterinarian to rule out a medical problem. Urinary tract inflammation or cystitis is common in cats and treatment is often required. Urinary tract infections can occur as well. Your vet will probably recommend a urine sample.
