My cat still has fleas after a bath. Is another flea bath safe?

My cat had had fleas for awhile and my house got infested , I left my house with my cat to my moms house and before that I gave him a flea bath, but last night I found about 30 fleas on my bed with him , am I able to give him another bath ? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | neutered | 9 lbs

Hi there. I don't recommend using flea dips or shampoos on cats, as the chemicals in these products are quite strong and can be toxic. Instead, I would recommend getting a good-quality flea control medication from your veterinarian, such as Revolution or Bravecto. These products are safe for cats, and will be much more effective than an OTC shampoo.
