My dog is shaking head, coughing, and has green snot. What to do?

We have an 8 year old Rottweiler American Bulldog dog who has been shaking his head for the past 2 weeks and now has a cough and green mucus that occasionally comes from his noes. We have been using baking soda soaked cotton balls in his ear. Is there something else and is this ok? Pet's info: Dog | DOG-LARGE-SHORTHAIR | Male | neutered | 7 years and 10 months old | 150 lbs
