Updated On September 23rd, 2025

There is something on my kitten's nose.it happened suddenly at first I thought it was some kind of dirt but then I noticed that the hair on the nose started disappearing. I was applying Micodom on his nose to treat this . But can I apply 3 mix ointment on it. Is it ringworm? If not then what is it?

Hello, sorry to hear about your kitten. It appears as though that hair loss may be associated with either a local skin infection or ringworm. You can apply a little triple antibiotic as long as she doesn't lick or get into her eyes. Otherwise, since you aha been putting micodom on for some time, you can monitor for any itchiness, further hair loss, bleeding, or discharge and contact your veterinarian if you note any of this. Hope this helps and best of luck.
