My dog has a minor red burn on her paw. How can I help until vet?

Hello, My dog has a minor burn that appears red that is on one of her paws in-between her toes, I have an appt to see her Vet tomorrow at 8PM, but I was wondering if there is anything I can do until then for her

Ouch! That does look sore. From the picture it does not look infected, however your veterinarian may see signs that I can’t see in a picture. The best thing you can do is to keep her mouth off of it. I know they are a nuisance but I would highly encourage you to put an E- collar (cone) on her to prevent her access to the wound. If you have any Aloe Vera that is ok as long as she has the cone on and can’t consume it. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
