My rabbit is restless and not eating after I cleaned her. Is she sick?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | spayed

yesterday my rabbit had large clump of dried feces and cecotrope stuck under her tail so I removed it with a wet, warm, cloth. today she has been eating very little and pooping very little. She seems to be adjusting her position frequently, it looks like she can’t get comfortable. she is a house trained rabbit that uses a litter box and free roams the living room. She has no access to unfirmilliar/unsafe things to eat or chew. She is 4 years old. Any advice would be great, thank you!

I am concerned that she may have gastric stasis, which is where the stomach isn’t contracting and the GI tract basically stalls out. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. Rabbits can get very sick very quickly with this and it can often be fatal. It is often treated with motility medication, force feeding, fluid therapy, and sometimes antibiotics as well. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
