My old dog has eye redness & hair loss. Allergies or infection?

Is this food allergies or seasonal allergies? And how to treat it ? There’s redness and hairloss around one eye . Shes 15 and never experienced any allergies before. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Female | spayed | 15 years and 1 month old | 50 lbs

This looks more like a periocular dermatitis, probably due to an infection (bacterial or infective). Immediate check up and dermatological testing are required to determine more specifically the underlying cause and treat appropriately.
