My dog has green eye discharge, squinting, and light sensitivity. Vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 10 years and 2 months old | 20 lbs

Boyd has some green stuff coming from his right eye he doesn't Oprah it all the way and it's light sensitive should we take him to the vet?

Poor Boyd! Yes, I would definitely take him to the vet. Green discharge and keeping the eye partly closed are generally signs of a an eye infection, or an injury to the eye such as a corneal scratch or ulcer. Your veterinarian can use a special stain if needed to determine the problem and will prescribe eye drops or ointment to treat it.
