Dog threw up whole food after drinking water. Is it normal?

My dog was drinking water and out of no where he threw up his solid food, it came out like he didn’t chew it properly. Why is that? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 23 days old | 3 lbs

Hello. Regurgitation of food can occasionally happen, especially if a puppy drinks too much water too fast. The food looks intact because many dogs never totally chew their food. This is very normal for many pets. If the vomiting continues, or Jace becomes lethargic, anorexic, shows any signs or pain or fever, please call your veterinarian.
