What are these flat, non-itchy spots on my dog? Should I see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd - miniature | Female | spayed | 2 years and 8 months old | 35 lbs

My dog just developed this rash on her Roma has. It’s not raised and doesn’t seem to be bothering her, there’s 3 visible spots. WhT do you think it is? Is it something I should be concerned about or take her to see the vet? Thank you!!

Thank you for your question. These spots are similar to what we see with insect bites, fly bites in particular. These bites usually resolve in a few days. If the spots are getting larger in size or become open sores or have a discharge coming from them then an examination by Bailey's vet is recommended.
