What is this hard white growth on my dog's skin, should I worry?

Found this hard white thing coming out of dogs skin. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 3 months old | 80 lbs

This is a cutaneous horn, This happens when some of the skin cells multiply excessively and do not get shed. So it then forms something like a nail (which is made from the same material ....keratin). This is nothing to worry about, It may fall off by itself. It is usually benign. You can have it removed by your vet who will excise the base of the horn, however it can still reoccur.
