When should I switch my puppy from 3 meals to 2 meals a day?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 7 months old | 13.1 lbs

We have been feeding her 3x a day. When is it appropriate to switch to 2x?

I generally switch to twice a day feeding when the puppy isn’t very interested in the mid day meal. That usually happens at six to eight months. If she’s a normal weight you can go to twice a day feeding now. If she’s thin and not finishing her meals then I would continue feeding three times a day.
