Ok so my cat just had three kittens last night, is her belly supposed to be hard even after the pregnancy?

The uterus is still enlarged 24 hours after birth, and you might be able to feel it in her belly. If her belly seems to be contracting or if you’re not sure how many kittens she had prior to whelping you should take her to your vet for x-rays.
