My dog's nail broke and is loose. Should I take him to the vet?

This nail will need to be removed (probably just a little snip by your vet) so it does not get caught on anything and cause more injury. This is not a big problem, but you should take Takito to your vet for this and not attempt to remove it yourself. You will also need to have all his nails trimmed regularly, which will help avoid snagging of the nails .
