Is it safe to vaccinate my dog after a positive coronavirus stool test?

can i still vaccinate my dog for coronavirus if her stool sample shows up with coronavirus thanks

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. If Kia had Coronavirus, it can remain present in her stool for up to 6 months. If it has not been over 6 months, I would hold off on any vaccinations and wait until the 6 month period to retest the stool and reconsider boostering the vaccinations. Every veterinarian is going to have different requirements so I would just speak with your veterinarian on the phone and confirm that this is what he / she would like to do as well.
