Senior dog with heart murmur coughing: Is it heart disease?

Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | unneutered | 16 years and 6 months old | 8 lbs

Hi , i was wondering if i could get some advice for my dog . Male age 16 , heart mur mur and is on water tablets . Half in morning and half at night . He has been coughing alot today and dont know if it is down to being so warm here

I'd be concerned it's part of his heart disease. It does get worse over time, and coughing can be a sign of it. I'd take Jake into the vet to discuss his medication and if he needs an adjustment of his Furosemide or additional ones for the cough. Best of luck.
