My senior dog's teeth are falling out. Where can I find a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 14 years and 11 months old | 22 lbs

My dog is about 15 and his teeth are falling out. Last night a big hunk of bone came out with the tooth. What do I do? Are there any dental clinics available?

Poor Chewy! Yes, most veterinary clinics are able to perform dental procedures. It definitely sounds like he needs an exam and dental work to address his rotten teeth and significant periodontal disease. I would recommend calling a veterinary clinic in your area to make an appointment for an exam. The doctor there can give you more information about exactly what he needs once the exam is done.
