Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If your dog swallowed this amount, that is a very large dose for your dog. Normally we do not exceed 15 mg/kg, and that dose would be almost 23 mg/kg. If your dog ingested this within the last 2 hours, I recommend bringing him/her to your local veterinarian as soon as possible to have them induce vomiting. If it has been longer than that time, and you are unsure if he/she ate the pill, you can monitor for any changes in attitude. That amount of trazodone will likely make your dog very sleepy and sedated, so if you see any of these signs, he/she needs to be seen by a vet right away. I hope this is helpful!
