My dog has kidney disease. What fruits and veggies are safe?

Hello, Can I give my dog ​​who has problems with kidneys (pumpkins, green beans) and what are the remaining vegetables and fruits that benefit him? thanks.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Yes, in general, vegetables are fine for dogs with kidney disease. Do avoid extra meat but he does need some. Fish oil or fish skin are great for kidneys. If available in your area, there are prescription kidney diets that are ideal for animals with kidney disease so discuss that with your vet. (Hill’s k/d, Royal canin rental support) As always, the following are considered toxic to dogs so do not give any of these: onions, garlic, grapes, macadamia nuts, and raisins.
