My cockatiel molts too often. Is her diet the problem? What else?

Hello :) my cockatiel (naoki) used to molt every month which was weird the vet checked her and they said she doesnt have any parasite and gave us vitamin he takes it 3 times a week the vitamin has decreased the molting but im still worried do you think the only reason is her diet? She has seeds carrots sesames popcorns etc in her diet what els can i do ?also how many naps are normal during a day ?

Thanks for reaching out about Naoki and including a photo. The are several nutritional deficiencies (vitamin A, protein, others) that can make feathers fall out easily. But there are several other infectious diseases (mostly viral) that should be tested. Molting should not occur monthly, but usually once yearly in spring. Most birds don't nap during the day if kept stimulated. Good luck.
