My dog's eye is red, shut, and he has a stye. What should I do?

My pet has a stye in his eyelid for almost five years now. But recently his eye is always red and he isnt able to open his eye. Pet's info: Dog | Samoyed | Male | neutered | 14 years and 11 months old

If he is unable to open his eye then he should be checked immediately. this can be a sign of an ulcer from rubbing it or getting something in it. It is a sign of pain. The sooner it gets check the better his chance to heal and not have vision loss
