My dog's eye is red, shut, and he has a stye. What should I do?

My pet has a stye in his eyelid for almost five years now. But recently his eye is always red and he isnt able to open his eye

If he is unable to open his eye then he should be checked immediately. this can be a sign of an ulcer from rubbing it or getting something in it. It is a sign of pain. The sooner it gets check the better his chance to heal and not have vision loss
