Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 16 lbs

I have a cat about 12 or 13 years old. She has a very runny nose and sneezes alot. She has this ery bad hack or cough too.Its been going on a couple of months. I haven't taken her to the vet as she is very very extremely hard to pick up and would be really hard to get her into a carrier. she hides when she sees it. I struggled once in the past to get her into the carrier and believe me it was really really hard and it took two people. I am very worried about her and not sure what to do.

Hi, and thanks for your question. This sign could be compatible with an upper respiratory tract inflammation/infection or possibly to a chronic rhinitis (inflammatory, allergic, infective). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
