My dog chews his crate bars. Is it anxiety? How can I stop it?

My Dog Tends To Chew On The Bars Of His Kennel, He Stops When I Catch Him. I Just Discovered He's Chewing Through The Bars?? Why Is That? How Can I Get Him To Stop?

It sounds like he may be having some separation anxiety. You could try a calming collar like sentry. You can also try some calming essential oils. DoTerra oils have oils that are safe for pets. Finally, if you aren't having any improvement, I would talk to your vet about starting him on an anti-anxiety medicine like fluoxetine. You can also talk to a trainer for ways to help improve the anxiety and prevent him from having to be on medicine long term. I hope this helps!
