My dog ate plastic wrap. Is it dangerous? Do I need an emergency vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 4 lbs

I discovered that Sampson ate a small sheet of plastic wrap how dangerous is this and what can happen to his intestines what are any possibilities of what could happen to him is this something I need to take him to emergency he is not showing any signs of problems at this point but I am not sure at what time of the night that he had eaten this

I would be surprised if a small pics of plastic caused an obstruction but it’s possible. You could consider seeing your veterinarian for an x-ray although it’s possible that plastic would not be dense enough to show up. You could also monitor him closely over the next few days for any signs of decreased appetite, vomiting, or abdominal pain and see your vet right away if you notice any of these signs.
