My puppy is scooting and throwing up after worm meds. What to do?

My puppy was throwing up like a week ago and I saw worms in his poop. I went to the vet and they gave him a pill. But today he was scooting his butt against the floor and he threw up a little. What should my next steps be? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 3 months and 22 days old | 24.5 lbs

For now, I would just keep an eye on him. It sounds like he had a pretty heavy worm burden and so there is some after effect from the parasite die off. If the vomiting continues, however, I would bring him back in.
