My dog has skin patches and bumps. Could it be allergies or mites?

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 20 days old | 80 lbs

My dog has these patches on his head and nose and breaks out with bumps on his body which I thought was allergies but not sure anymore the patches are what throws me off i was wondering what I should do to treat them

There could be a few reasons for this. Prince should see a veterinarian. They can skin scrape the spots of hairloss looking for mites. I would also discuss a possibility of allergies although it is not typical for this young of a dog. Bumps on his skin may be a skin infection also so your veterinarian can evaluate all of this and provide an appropriate medication. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
