Hello, while this is not normal, it is not overly alarming. It is possible that Rocky is finding something in his environment that he eats & then vomits it up. As long as Rocky eats well, is showing no signs of weight loss, weakness, bad breath, & has normal eliminations, then I would not be overly concerned. But please make sure you mention this to your veterinarian at his next scheduled visit, or if the episodes become more frequent, have him seen as soon as possible. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Hi there and thanks for your question. Vomiting is never really considered normal, however every once is a while may be contributed to her eating something she shouldn't have (like grass, leaves, or something else) or eating something that irritates her stomach or food/treats that she does not digest very well. If it continues or becomes more frequent, you may want to take her into your vet's office for a check. There can be other causes of vomiting such as ingesting a toxin, foreign body obstruction, gastric ulcer, food allergy, etc. Hope this has helped answer your question for you and Sammi. Best wishes!
