My dog was just fixed, and his incision looks bad. What do I do?

I am sorry to hear about Jax. He definitely needs to have his vet examine him with this incision. If it is not opening more and he is comfortable, it can probably wait until tomorrow IF you are able to keep an e-collar (the cone shaped lampshade collar) on him and keep him confined to a small area and only go outside if he needs to use the bathroom and on a short leash so he has very limited movement. If the incision starts opening further or he is lethargic/not eating then he should be seen tonight.
