My dog has red burn-like spots, pale skin, and bite marks. Fleas?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Female | spayed | 11 years and 3 months old

My female smooth Chihuahua has a reddish burn looking oval like shape on her middle stomach nd her stomach color is kinda pale looking. What can i do about it...also she has bite marks/scars from something.. I've was battling fleas before....please help

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Mommy Girl! The scratch and bite marks are likely self inflicted from the fleas. I recommend a good flea preventative like Nexgard, Bravectp, Simparica, Advantix is or the Seresto collar. The circular red area is also like from being itchy but it is best to have it checked out. I would prescribe a course of steroids, oral antibiotics and a topical cream to be applied. If she is licking the lesion the she would need an E-collar. I wish you the best!
