Dog has a red, scabbed lump on her side. Is it a tumor or growth?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 30 lbs

Hi there seems to be a protrusion coming out of my dogs skin it may be a bottom tumor but I'm not for sure, it's on her side, it was once red but has scanned over, what is it?

This does look like a tumor and it appears to have characterics of a cancerous tumor. Unfortunately, we can't tell exactly what this is just by looking at the picture. It's best to have a vet examine her sometime soon to keep this from getting worse.
