My kitten has a cold and won't eat. Is milk okay? What can I feed?

Hi, my kitten has a bad cold and chest congestion. She is on antibiotics. And now she has stopped eating and drinking because of the loss of appetite. We are currently feeding her milk with a syringe every 1-1.5 hours to prevent her from dehydrating(she is slightly dehydrated). I would like to know if giving her milk is okay. And since she is not taking solids currently what could be fed?

Hello, sorry to hear about your Kitten. Kitten formula is ok. Regular milk may be ok too temporarily, but ideally she should be switched to some form of kitten formula. You may offer wet kitten food if she is not taking dry food. Otherwise, if she is not improving then you should have her evaluated by your veterinarian. Hope this helps and best of luck.
