While most kittens start to open their eyes at around 9-10 days old, some can take up to 15 days. If it goes beyond 15 days, I would recommend you take the kitten in to see a vet. Thanks for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

Give Freckles more time. The eyes typically open between 10 and 14 days of age. Do not ever try to force the eyes open. If there appears to be any discharge from the eyes, have Freckles examined by the veterinarian quickly. Best of luck.

I would be a bit concerned, but give him another couple of days. If you are very worried about him, you can have him seen by a vet in the morning to be safe. Otherwise, if he hasn't opened his eyes by 21 days of age, get him into the vet. I hope this helps!
