Used Frontline Plus, then flea shampoo on cat. Was it too soon?

Hi! We used frontline plus about five days ago on our cat and today we used sergeants gold flea and tick shampoo. Was this too close together? Should we rinse her with dawn?

If you used the Frontline Plus on Nova, there should be no need to bathe her in a flea and tick shampoo. Cats are exquisitely sensitive to flea treatments, so keep a close eye on Love. If you see any signs of flea toxicity (agitation, vomiting, drooling, lethargy, face and ear twitching, walking "drunk"), you will need to take her into a vet immediately. This is close together, but the shampoo does rinse off and does not provide any lasting protection. She should be ok, but I do not recommend doing this again. Best of luck.
