Hello My dog has a strange thing in his stomach its round and red he keeps licking it . Hes 3 month old . What should i do ? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 4.5 lbs

It looks like Scooby may have a small umbilical hernia. I would recommend that you have it checked out by a vet. Some umbilical hernias will close as the puppies get older, but some large ones may need to be closed surgically. It shouldn't cause any discomfort, but if Scooby keeps licking, you may need to cover it with a dog shirt so he doesn't irritate the skin.
